ABOUT ASHTON

As a first-generation college graduate and the first attorney in my family, I’ve had the privilege of building a rewarding ten-year career at Akin Gump in Dallas.

In my role as a mergers and acquisitions Partner, I work closely with private equity and corporate clients, guiding them through complex transactions and strategic decisions that drive their growth and success.

I bring the same dedication and passion to community building, service, and mentorship—values that are essential to the practice of law and are central to my personal and professional life.

When I’m not billing my time in six-minute increments or serving the bar, I cherish spending time with my spouse, our six-year-old twin boys, our dog Sammy, and our two cats, Jenny and Sybil.
